ABOUT DRACO PRODUCTIONS...

In the tradition of amateur astronomers everywhere, Draco Productions, a Pensacola,
Florida based Internet business, endeavors to provide non-mainstream resources to amateur astronomers.
Draco Productions provides telescope kits and accessories, including Baader Solar Filter material and eyepieces, and complete astronomical observers' kits.
A Complete Science Fair Astronomy Kit is also available for students who are interested in completing that special astronomy project.
The goal of Draco Productions is to provide affordable astronomical equipment for the beginning hobbyist or for school project or classroom use.  The telescopes / kits include high quality optics.  The mountings, however, are strictly basic hardware stock, and this provides great savings for those who otherwise would not be able to afford a quality instrument, or for those who would prefer to see if they enjoy the hobby sufficiently to warrant investing in more expensive equipment.

Amateur astronomy has always attracted the do-it-yourself crowd...those who build their
own telescopes and finder 'scopes, grind their own mirrors, or make occultation timers,
cross-hair reticle eyepiece illuminators, eyepiece holders, or dew caps and dust covers.  If you are interested in the most ancient physical science, please take a look at what Draco Productions has to offer.  If you have any questions, please feel free to write.

DP has been involved in astronomical organizations, education, observation,
astrophotography, astronomical (and other) education, telescope building, and other related endeavors for more than 20 years.

You may order using PayPal's secure server for immediate payment.

Occasionally, Draco Productions offers items for auction on e-Bay at a discounted price.
To see if there are any items listed for auction, go to the Draco Productions auction list.  A form will appear listing any current auctions.  Items offered in limited quantities are occasionally listed on this website.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions that you would like to submit to
Draco Productions, please message Draco Productions at the e-mail address at the bottom of this page.  Your input is valued.

International Buyers:

If you live outside of the United States, please e-mail a list of the items that you wish to purchase, and postage will be calculated for shipment to your country.  This information will be sent back to you by e-mail.  Generally the lowest price of airfare is chosen.

You may still use PayPal for payment if you have registered your name and address with PayPal, and both are confirmed by PayPal.  Instead of using the shopping cart which is programmed for US purchases only, please transfer funds through the "Send Money" option, and select "goods."  You may also use a Currency Converter to get the cost directly, or have PayPal convert the funds to US dollars by choosing the proper funds from their drop down currency option menu.

Returned Items:

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item.  Items returned within 30 days in original condition will be either replaced or refunded for the purchase price minus shipping/handling.  If the item was damaged during shipment, you may return it for a refund that includes a refund of your return mailing costs.

Draco Productions does not use any customer's name, address, phone number, or e-mail address for solicitation, neither is the customer's personal information shared with any second party.  The management of Draco Productions is a member of CAUCE (Coalition Against Unsolicited Commercial Email)--"spam."

Tired of "spam" clogging your mailbox?  Tired of porn ads with explicit subject headers appearing in mail your children might see?  As a consumer, you have the option of filtering "spam" in several ways.  Sneakemail, however, is free, and allows you to put out dummy e-mail addresses that forward mail to your true e-mail address.  You can create a different e-mail address each time you want to make a purchase on-line.  If you get spammed at that address, it may be because the business sold or passed on your e-mail address.  Some "spam" will always pass through as some businesses use systems that send e-mail to every possible variant on a theme, like dialing every number from 555-1111 through 555-2222.  A lot of unwanted solicitations can be filtered, however.  Check out Sneakemail to see if it fits your personal needs.
